Dough Co. Pizza Launches 26 Inch 'Mega Slice' April 1

Dough Co. Pizza is supercharging its already large slice to launch the Mega Slice on April 1. The Mega Slice is 26” long, that’s over two feet of Dough Co. Pizza’s famous hand tossed dough, famous house sauce, and famous freshly shredded mozzarella.

“As a locally owned business, we care about our customers. Apparently, 12” slices just aren’t big enough,” said Dough Co. Pizza co-owner Evan Davis. “You want more dough? You get more dough. The 26 inch Mega Slice is for anyone that’s dreamed of eating a slice of pizza the size of a small child.”

With locations in the Drake neighborhood and Ankeny, Dough Co. Pizza offers New York style pizza with a Midwest twist along with sandwiches, wings, salads and more.

Please note, this is an April Fools joke! It follows in Dough Co. Pizza’s tradition of having fun with pizza. Previous April Fools releases include The Rachinator and The Doughble Decker Pizza.

However, this year Dough Co. Pizza is making the Mega Slice available for one day only on April 1. A cheese Mega Slice is $33 and a single topping Mega Slice is $38. It will be available in store or call in carryout, while supplies last.
